This guide was created to be a comprehensive resource for the DS game My Frogger Toy Trials (2006). It's still a work in progress, and as such the site will be updated over time. The levels themselves are pretty straightforward, so the current plan is to focus mostly on collectibles and unlocking extra levels, alongside some tips for various things. I doubt I'll do full level walkthroughs because that could get pretty lengthy (and the only way I have to get footage of the game right now is.. taking pictures of the DS with my phone), but I'd consider it with like, Pedro's level maybe?
I'm also going to do an any% route for a hypothetical speedrun, which I'd like to run myself one day if I can ever figure out a good recording setup.
It's a fun and exciting adventure! Who knows what's going to happen! Yippee!!
Why Though...?
My Frogger Toy Trials is a largely forgotten DS game from 2006, why would I put so much effort into making a guide for it? Well, because no one else has, as far as I can tell.
There is almost no information about this game on the internet. The only thing close to a guide I found was a single forum thread of people mostly just asking for help on (optional) puzzles. The plot summary on the Wikipedia page isn't even complete—it only covers the events up to the second level!
So I've decided to take it upon myself to get the information out there. I played this game a lot as a kid and still love it now; it's got great controls and a silly little story and a very cute Frogger. This is for everyone who never figured out Box Push Puzzle Level 10.
Acknowledgements
Of course huge thank you to Konami for making this game!
I'd also like to shout out everyone on this IGN Boards thread for being, seemingly, the only people online interested in this game (or, at least, interested in community-sourced solutions to things they got stuck on). Special shout outs to FroggyGirls for starting the thread and helping with what they could, and to t_guy2 for posting the solution to Box Push Puzzle Level 9, which I have never completed on my own.
